National Handwriting Day and a special font deal

1.23 YourFonts

Just a couple things to note:

1. The text above is from fonts I have made of my own lettering at yourfonts.com. And just another reminder, this is not a sponsored post, I’m just sharing this coupon because it’s an awesome deal and I also want to remind you that you can find more promo codes like this one at Raise, one of my favorite websites to get coupons from.

2. Making your own font is really quite easy to do. The site walks you through the steps, but basically all you do is go to yourfonts.com, download the template, print it out, fill it out, scan it, and upload it back to the site. Voila, you have your own font! Make sure you scan it at a high quality resolution and size. I think the first font I ever made was a bust because I tried to keep the file size small and all the letters are really jaggedy.

3. Don’t forget to use the code CPN4NHD2014 at checkout to get the special $2.49 deal.

4. If you make your own font and/or use your own font for something fun, come back here and let me know about it!

robayre

Hi, I'm Robyn and I was Hatched from a Kinder Surprise Egg. Graphic Designer by day, Maker of things by night. I have worked as a graphic artist professionally since I was 16 years old. Went on to get my Bachelors of Art from NIU. I like to share my Artwork online at flickr.com/photos/robayre and on my own personal website http://www.robayre.com. I also have an online shop http://www.robayre.etsy.com where you can find more of my "crafty" sorts of things, as well as a random piece of artwork here and there. Oh, and I'm also an occasional contributor to Artomat (artomat.org).
