Mail goodies

One day this week I came home and it was like I had hit the jackpot. I think I had 5 goodies (read: not bills or junk mail). One package was from Marta Mendes in Portugal. Back in the day I sent her one of my early postcrossing postcards and we’ve been flickr contacts for years. I inquired about how much she was selling her jewelry for and she offered that we swap! I was thrilled. Not only did she send me a brooch that featured one of her handmade buttons, but she also sent me a necklace and pictures and a vintage postcard. I’m so excited to finally have some of her stuff.

Then I got two of my prints that I ordered from Etsy last week. The packaging from linotte’s print was so incredibly adorable. It was put together so peciously and I think that every package should come looking just like this.

Here are my new prints. The top left from Linotte. The bearded, scarf-ed man from AshlyG and the female portrait, relief print from none other than Al Stark.

Hi, I'm Robyn and I was Hatched from a Kinder Surprise Egg. Graphic Designer by day, Maker of things by night. I have worked as a graphic artist professionally since I was 16 years old. Went on to get my Bachelors of Art from NIU. I like to share my Artwork online at flickr.com/photos/robayre and on my own personal website http://www.robayre.com. I also have an online shop http://www.robayre.etsy.com where you can find more of my "crafty" sorts of things, as well as a random piece of artwork here and there. Oh, and I'm also an occasional contributor to Artomat (artomat.org).
