2026 saw a return to one of my favorite projects of the new year, Pattern January! Anika Starmer has organized this beloved daily prompt list, and according social media pages, many times over the years.
This project has seen the origination of many of my favorite patterns and illustrations, that are still used in my brand to this day

It honestly felt like such a blessing and a delight this year to be able to freely work on a daily pattern (for the most part) and not having to fit it in around a draining work day. In the past, #PatternJanuary might drag out into the next month (or two) because of my day job. This year I felt so lucky to be able to devote time and publish each pattern by the end of the day. Some patterns might have been a rough draft, or will further evolve later, but I had something that was post worthy each day of the month.
