I’m bursting at the seams. Today was a wonderful day. Wait, before you read any further you should hit play on the youtube video below. I’ve been so happy and energetic today and this song is definitely a song that makes me happy and makes me want to get up and jump around.

It’s just been one of those days where I keep thinking “I’m in such a good mood”. It actually started last night, so I’ll take that as a good sign for my 31st year. Thank you everyone for your warm birthday wishes! I woke up this morning well rested, had a busy and productive day at work. I was happy to get a handful of comments on my post yesterday. After work I got to hang out and chat with several friends, two of which/whom? eloped this weekend. Congratulations Tom and Nikki, I love you both!

And then finally, when I get home late tonight, I discovered that the treasury I curated (top picture) on etsy made it to the front page. You can see a partial screen capture of it here. I was soooo excited to find that out. So many people left comments praising my collection that they filled up the allotment and I couldn’t even share with them how excited I was that it made front page, let alone to thank them all for commenting and being so kind. It feels like a huge honor to be recognized by etsy admin for selecting my treasury.

Oh yeah, and I’m wearing these amazing socks that my very own sister made for me for my birthday. I think they are the best birthday present I’ve ever received. Green, absolutely gorgeous and unbelievably comfortable to boot. I’m just about blissed out to maximum capacity.

Hi, I'm Robyn and I was Hatched from a Kinder Surprise Egg. Graphic Designer by day, Maker of things by night. I have worked as a graphic artist professionally since I was 16 years old. Went on to get my Bachelors of Art from NIU. I like to share my Artwork online at flickr.com/photos/robayre and on my own personal website http://www.robayre.com. I also have an online shop http://www.robayre.etsy.com where you can find more of my "crafty" sorts of things, as well as a random piece of artwork here and there. Oh, and I'm also an occasional contributor to Artomat (artomat.org).

  1. Oh I’m glad you like the socks. I didn’t hear anything so I was afraid they didn’t fit. They seemed kind of tight because of all the YOs and decreases in the pattern. They actually look kind of big in the picture. :\ It was a one-size pattern.
