Did you make that?

The other day I had some guests over and after one made her way back from the bathroom she asked “did you make your towels?” She had thought because they matched my shower curtain and were embroidered I might have made them. I had to say “No, their a store bought set”  This was then followed by a “you probably are so sick of people asking you if you made this or that, all the time”. I can’t say that I am bothered by it in the least. Being an artist and crafter and general “maker-of-things” I get asked this a lot. The funny part about it though is that I usually get asked if I made things like my Old Navy bag, store bought clothes, and handmade jewelry by other artists.Tee hee :D

Hi, I'm Robyn and I was Hatched from a Kinder Surprise Egg. Graphic Designer by day, Maker of things by night. I have worked as a graphic artist professionally since I was 16 years old. Went on to get my Bachelors of Art from NIU. I like to share my Artwork online at flickr.com/photos/robayre and on my own personal website http://www.robayre.com. I also have an online shop http://www.robayre.etsy.com where you can find more of my "crafty" sorts of things, as well as a random piece of artwork here and there. Oh, and I'm also an occasional contributor to Artomat (artomat.org).
