Circle Series No. 18

It has been a while, but I was inspired to create a new circle series piece. Honestly, I have a few new ones started, but this is the one that I loved so much, I was able to finish it quickly.

I got the circle series itch and had to run and buy some big sheets of watercolor. I feel like I always say this about every piece, but I LOVE this piece. I started with the bag of vintage photographs I got at the flea market and picked this one in particular because of the color and content. It just had this great, warm, vintage feel to it that I hoped to carry through the rest of the piece.

This original piece is available in my etsy shop with a few other remaining circle series pieces.

I also have an online shop http://www.robayre.etsy.com where you can find more of my "crafty" sorts of things, as well as a random piece of artwork here and there. Oh, and I'm also an occasional contributor to Artomat (artomat.org).

  1. Love it. It definitely does have that warm, vintage feel throughout. I love the fabric you chose. The pieces add to that. It reminds me of our station wagon from the 70s.
