audio internet

I just thought of a great invention (if it hasn’t been created already). An interface that translates every website into audiofiles. That way I could download them to play on an mp3 player or listen to while I work on other things away from the computer. I got the idea while listening to this Craftsanity podcast about etsy and realized it was just as great as surfing their message boards, but I was able to get work done at the same time.

Shouldn’t there be something like this for the blind already? Hmmm, have to do some research.

Hi, I'm Robyn and I was Hatched from a Kinder Surprise Egg. Graphic Designer by day, Maker of things by night. I have worked as a graphic artist professionally since I was 16 years old. Went on to get my Bachelors of Art from NIU. I like to share my Artwork online at flickr.com/photos/robayre and on my own personal website http://www.robayre.com. I also have an online shop http://www.robayre.etsy.com where you can find more of my "crafty" sorts of things, as well as a random piece of artwork here and there. Oh, and I'm also an occasional contributor to Artomat (artomat.org).

  1. I think there is something like that already. In fact, I heard on the news recently that some group was going after Target because their website wasn’t accessible by the blind using this tool.
