Paintings in the shop

Last month during my “Thing-a-day” I shared a couple of collections of new collages.

I made these as a first step in what would be translated into miniature paintings similar to my Art-o-mat paintings. It’s a way to celebrate finally sending in my Art-o-mat collection. This way, anyone who might not have access to an Art-o-mat, or those who have purchased some of my work and would like to buy more, could do so from my etsy shop.
I have listed 3 “Art-o-mat” styled miniature canvas paintings to my shop so far.

Click on any of the images and it will take you to their listing page.

Hi, I'm Robyn and I was Hatched from a Kinder Surprise Egg. Graphic Designer by day, Maker of things by night. I have worked as a graphic artist professionally since I was 16 years old. Went on to get my Bachelors of Art from NIU. I like to share my Artwork online at flickr.com/photos/robayre and on my own personal website http://www.robayre.com. I also have an online shop http://www.robayre.etsy.com where you can find more of my "crafty" sorts of things, as well as a random piece of artwork here and there. Oh, and I'm also an occasional contributor to Artomat (artomat.org).

  1. I was sitting here thinking, directly into the corner? What is she talking about? And then I realized…AMAZING! I do know what you’re talking about. Too bad you didn’t get a picture.

  2. I absolutely adore the idea of making painting from collage. I think I shall have to try it. Usually, I just end up doing it all at once, haha. I think it would be a great way to separate the different creative processes. My question is where do you get/how do you make such tiny tiny canvases?

Also, I saw your video on the art-o-mat machines and though I’ve never seen one personally, I love the idea. Kudos to you!
