Postcards

I put two of my postcards up for sale at at my etsy shop. I really don’t know what I am doing, but I guess I will figure it out as I go. I guess I just feel really embarrassed, like “who do I think I am, that someone would want to buy any of artwork”

Anyway, the first one was also featured in the new online art zine What You Make It
so that is something to be proud of.
I guess I would appreciate any feedback, but use kid gloves, my skin is very thin, thanks. (x posted)

Hi, I'm Robyn and I was Hatched from a Kinder Surprise Egg. Graphic Designer by day, Maker of things by night. I have worked as a graphic artist professionally since I was 16 years old. Went on to get my Bachelors of Art from NIU. I like to share my Artwork online at flickr.com/photos/robayre and on my own personal website http://www.robayre.com. I also have an online shop http://www.robayre.etsy.com where you can find more of my "crafty" sorts of things, as well as a random piece of artwork here and there. Oh, and I'm also an occasional contributor to Artomat (artomat.org).

  1. Hi Robyn! Thanks for your comment on my blog about my dollhouse rooms! I really like these collages. They show a very nice sense of color and design. I think they are very sellable (maybe just call them “ART” – not postcards?) I think you should not be at all embarrassed to show them. They look very professional to me!

Actually.. I just decided to buy the bird one! I love it! So.. see that? People DO buy your art!

    :-) Melissa

  2. Oh, I just saw your comment now. Thank you so much for the kind words. My sister was getting at me on lack of confidence and I was going to edit out that part of this post when I saw a comment pending.
