you know, i tend to think i should be good at things out of the gate, but what we don't realize is all of those people that rock (have you seen duhbaduhbadoo's stuff) make a million before they keep one. i am impatient, too, so i feel ya. i have a bunch of polymer clay doll parts that look like crap that i have in a box somewhere. i will have to pick up that book, tho.

I'm glad...I'm not alone in this creative world! I'm very similar to you. I see something, I want to make something as fab as that artist, I run out and get a book, look on YouTube, look at tons of photos to figure out the process...and then I try and make my own. But then I realize that I'll probably have to do several of them in order to get it "just right" and I'm a bit impatient. So, you, my dear, are not ever alone.

Your 1st doll attempt looks pretty good. Maybe with this one you can hippify her with dreds or something. I took a look at Pil's dolls those are neat and vintage looking. I can see you do something with that "feel" with your flair. :) Try it again and think like you think.
