		<description>From your description, my guess is the hard drive connection was loose.  If you were using it while running, maybe it jarred loose.  Anyway, I vote for using the old 3G for running, returning the shuffle, and getting something else to reward yourself.  Then if the 3G conks out for good you can always go buy the shuffle later.</description>
