I live in northern Illinois and it traveled to eastern Ohio. A farmer found it and wrote me a letter. It turned out that he had land in DeKalb County and thought he might visit me - although he never did. I still have that letter (30 years later) because I thought it was so cool. It is so inventive! this to me was completely unexpected, I think your art work is so beautiful, I understand what you say about the excitement of the unexpected. It's weird to not know where it's going and having no control of what'll happen to it, and it will undoubtedly end up having a great adventure. Do you think balloons can travel all the way from Wisconsin to North Carolina? I will keep my eye out for a little parcel tied to 6 colorful balloons. THIS IS SOOOO COOL!!!!!! It would be difficult for me to "give up" my artwork, but the idea of finding it in a random way is so cool. I would love to find something like that because it would seem as though fate would be brining it into my world. Outwardly it would appear random, but fate would make it seem as though all the universe coordinated to bring this bit of art to me. I LOVE this idea.
